Toddler, 3 others injured in Thurston County car crash

OLYMPIA -- Washington State Patrol troopers are investigating a Monday night wrong-way crash along State Route 8 that injured a toddler and three others.
Troopers say a man was heading eastbound in the westbound lane near Summit Lake Shores Road when he crashed into two other cars, causing one to flip over.
The wrong way driver -- an adult man -- was air lifted to the hospital with unknown injuries. Troopers believe he had been driving in the wrong lane well before the crash happened and was likely under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
A toddler in the car was secured in a car seat and only suffered minor injuries.
The two female victims in the crash also suffered minor injuries.

And most of you on here wanted the cop who shot that drunk McServey in his corvette hanged. Drunk drivers kill more people than those with guns every year. And our liberal laws let them walk.
Â
Pathetic.
Glad he is hurt the most.
Which car was the toddler in ? Â legalized marijuana and drunks druggies the roads are getting far too dangerous.
10 years in prison for this fool would be a good start. I am so sick of these needless crashes caused by damn drunks. Take him off the streets and keep our communities safe. And yes, I am willing to pay for it. I pay for it anyway through higher insurance rates and higher hospital bills for the uncompensated care that hospitals give.
@Ned They're a good reason not to text and drive. Have to watch for the idiots coming at you.
We need to start putting tire spikes on freeway entrances that take out cars attempting to enter the wrong way.
@Travis Hartnett Wouldn't have helped on this highway as it doesn't have true on-ramps. It's a limited access highway rather than a freeway.
@Travis Hartnett Heck not that is way to simple of a solution! we need to form a committee to study the reason for wrong way drivers, then come up with a five year plan to see what ideas might work and study the ones that don't then have a enviromental study for ten years to see what impacts might take place. then maybe then your idea might be used.
Dear GOD!!! This is just horrible and was so preventable. It's a miracle this dip---- didn't kill any innocent people let alone himself. Wow.......
