Two injured in attack by men with baseball bats
SEATTLE -- A man and a woman are in the hospital Thursday morning after an attack near Ravenna Park.

Seattle Police officers were called to the area near the 5500 block of 25th Avenue NE just after 3:30 a.m. after someone reported hearing yelling and crying for help, said department spokesman Mark Jamieson.

When officers arrived, they found a 41-year-old man and 54-year-old woman coming out of a wooded area who had been beaten several times by a man with a baseball bat.

The victims told police they knew the attacker as a man with who they had an earlier dispute.

The victims were taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, police say another man was with the attacker and both remain on the loose.
