Vandals target three Capitol Hill banks
SEATTLE -- Police are searching for a group of masked vandals who smashed out windows and left anarchist graffiti at three Capitol Hill banks Monday night.

Police responded to numerous reports of vandalism on Capitol Hill just before 7 p.m.

When they arrived in the area, officers found broken windows and graffiti at three banks. The vandals targeted a Key Bank on 15th Ave. E. And East Thomas St., a US Bank at Broadway and East John, and a Chase Bank at Broadway and East Thomas Street.

Police say the culprits wore masks, dark hooded sweatshirts and dark pants.

This isn't the first time Capitol Hill banks have been targeted by vandals. In October, someone smashed the glass doors at the same US Bank branch at Broadway and John.

Other banks along Broadway have also been vandalized in the past year, including a Chase Bank branch that has been damaged three times.

Officers are searching the area.
