Man dies in off-road, dirt bike motorcycle crash

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — A Clark County sheriff's spokesman says a 41-year-old Kalama, Wash., man has died in an off-road dirt bike motorcycle crash on Larch Mountain.

Sgt. Fred Neiman said several off-road motorcycle fans were riding Friday on trails out of the Jones Creek ATV recreational area when the group lost track of one rider. The other riders found he had crashed and was dead.

Neiman says the victim was wearing a helmet and protective riding gear.

The Clark County medical examiner took possession of the body. The man was not immediately identified pending notification of relatives.
