He held me up 2 days ago. Same jacket. Same gun. I hope someone shoots him.
I hope they catch this POS soon.Â
Too bad nobody in the bank at the time was carrying and could end the threat right then and there. Bad enough this guy is a bank robbing scumbag but to point a gun at a kid? You just forfeited your life right there, buddy.
@dg54321 if you shot that guy as a non-commissioned citizen, you would be in deep legal doo-dooÂ
@Komo Dragon  @dg54321 That's all good and well, but there is a high chance that someone innocent gets hurt, and then it's on you. I doubt that even police would engage inside the bank.Â
@dg54321 or whether you suddenly get the jitters and can't hold the dam gun straight ;-)
@Komo Dragon Mmm....it's hard to say. It is one of those situations where the person there in that place at that time has to weigh the chances and make a judgment call. Once the man started pointing the gun in the face of the mother and child if I could safely make the shot without hitting anybody else, I'd take it, I believe. I would have no way of knowing whether he would pull that trigger or not, and I'd have to assume he would at that time.
@Komo Dragon In the commission of a felony and threatening deadly force upon a mother and her child? I think not. One can never tell what a prosecutor is going to do or not, but according to the law it would be justified. Shoot the guy for robbing the bank? I wouldn't know until I was in that situation.....but once he starts putting a gun in an innocent person's face and threatening a child, I'm not going to wait until he actually shoots somebody to end the threat. If some scumbag prosecutor wants to file charges, I'll make them prove it at trial, if it even got that far. The law is pretty clear on using lethal force to stop a threat upon your life or the lives of others.
@Komo Dragon  @dg54321 Not if he was brandishing a fire arm and in the middle of a bank robbery and you were afraid for your life!
wish the banks would go back to having armed guards.  I guess the figure it's cheaper to pay out money than to adequately staff the banks.  Most banks have like 2 people working most of the time now.   How scary for that woman!!!  I would not want a guy like that to know who I was...  that is a particularly horrible thing to do in a bank robbery, to personalize it like that. Hope they catch him.. soon.  sounds dangerous. Â
When are banks going to upgrade their video surveillance systems? those photo's are crap!
@DarkParty It's not the camera's, it's the storage of footage that's so expensive. Regardless, being a bank... they should be able to afford it!
@DarkParty My bank just did. they have ones that are right in your face at the teller stations.Â
@DarkParty Agreed. The new Hi-Def cameras have come down so much in price now that any business, especially banks, should be able to afford them. The pics on the SPD blotter are not much better, but at least they have a slightly more complete description of the "suspect".

Hopefully someone will somehow recognize this filth (who's now traumatized a mother and child for the rest of their lives) and notifies the authorities.

May this gun-toting scum be soon found and neutralized quickly with the most efficient and cost-effective methods possible.
