Woman dead, brother wounded from stabbing in SeaTac
SEATAC, Wash. -- A woman is dead and her brother was wounded in a stabbing in SeaTac Monday morning.

Deputies were called to the scene in the 3200 block of S. 180th just after 11 a.m., said Sgt. Cindi West with the King County Sheriff's Office. When they arrived, the found a woman in her 20s dead and her brother suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle but his exact condition is not known.

The surviving victim was able to tell deputies that two men came to the house overnight, stabbed and killed his sister, and demanded money, West said. No further details were given about the stabbing or who detectives might be looking for.

This kind of crime is out of place at the Skyview Apartment Complex, tenants said.

"Everybody is super friendly around here, that's why I was like, whoa, that's a little crazy," resident Caylynn Velo said.

The apartment complex's security camera may have more details. An apartment manager says she's scanning it, but so far has found nothing.

Deputies are still investigating the situation and have not released the identity of the woman.

Updates to follow as more details become available.
