Woman fighting for her life after being shot in the head
SEATTLE -- A 25-year-old woman is fighting for her life after being shot in the head Thursday night.
The woman was found in a bullet-riddled White Cadillac Escalade on northbound I-5 and Dearborn St. just before 9 p.m., but police believe the shooting happened in Tukwila.
The woman and a male driver were found in the vehicle after police chased them on the highway.
Police are now searching Tukwila International Blvd. and 116th St, which is where they believe the shooting occurred. Officers at the scene have already found several shell casings, and they'd like to speak with anyone who might have been in the area when the shooting happened.
The driver was not injured and is now being interviewed by Tukwila police.
The Dearborn St. exit is blocked to traffic while officers process the scene
