SEATTLE - A woman is recovering after she was stabbed overnight in the Belltown area of Seattle, police said.

Officers and medics responded to the scene, in the 2200 block of 1st Avenue, at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday after receiving a report of an assault with weapons.

The woman was found in the back seat of a white SUV with stab wounds. She was rushed to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. Her condition was not immediately available.

So far, police have not identified a suspect.
