Woman's body found by Vashon Island search team
VASHON ISLAND, Wash. - A woman's body was found in a wooded area of Vashon Island on Saturday by crews searching for a young woman who was reported missing by her family the night before, officials said.
Sgt. Cindi West of the King County Sheriff's Office said the death is considered suspicious.
India Castle, 27, of Vashon Island was reported missing by her family at about 8 p.m. Friday. An overnight search of the area yielded no results, so a search-and-rescue team was sent out Saturday morning to try and find her, West said.
At about 1 p.m. Saturday, the team found a woman's body in a wooded area not far from Castle's home. West said officials believe it is Castle, but the King County Medical Examiner needs to confirm her identity.
West said the woman's death is considered suspicious due to her young age, but a cause of death will not be known until an autopsy is performed.

What's even more tragic for her parents is that this isn't the first time her parents have lost a child. Their son was also killed a few years ago when he was in high school.

So very sad. Â Condolences to her family, friends and loved ones. Â I hope they find out what happened.
We had the killer of the Ballard Sumstad girl go free even though he was found guilty. Â Apparently the reason was that he was under the age of 18 when he killed and raped her. Â This is the liberal court system for you.Â

 @HullenbeckCowl Why does this have to be a political thing? If you can prove to me, with solid evidence, that all juveniles are released when they turn 18 years old and that it's always 18 years old at a maximum only in a "liberal court system," then I will believe you.Â
So sad. I hope her family heals and she rests in peace.
Other media outlets are reporting that the body does in fact belong to the missing girl. Â She was a beautiful girl.
