Fourth arson in 2 weeks on WSU campus

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Officials say a fire in a Washington State University parking garage was the fourth arson in two weeks on campus.

WSU Police Lt. Steve Hansen told the Moscow-Pullman Daily News it appears someone set papers on fire Tuesday night in the concrete stairwell of the garage for the Fine Arts Center. The fire caused only minor damage.

Hansen says investigators are looking into whether it may be the same arsonist who set fires last month at two apartment community centers and a laboratory building. No one was injured in any of the fires, but damages are more than $800,000.
