2 hospitalized in Indonesia after Komodo attack
JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) - A park official says two people have been hospitalized after being attacked by a giant Komodo dragon that wandered into the office of a wildlife park in eastern Indonesia.
An official at Komodo National Park, Heru Rudiharto, said Wednesday the 2-meter-long (6 ½ foot-long) Komodo dragon attacked a park ranger after walking into the office on Tuesday. It then attacked another park employee who came to help him. Both were badly bitten and were evacuated to a hospital on Bali Island.
Rudiharto said the park ranger also was attacked by a Komodo dragon in 2009.
Endangered Komodo dragons can grow longer than 3 meters (10 feet). Fewer than 4,000 are believed to be alive. They are found in the wild primarily on the eastern Indonesian islands of Komodo, Padar and Rinca.

It happened once before,not the first time,they should have paid attention to that.

They wait for prey which they will then pounce on with a large drool filled lethal bite full of bacteria which eventually kills the other guy. Â They then use their keen sense of smell to track down the prey and cash in on the goodies.

That is one big, mean, lizard. Always thought they were cool myself but wouldn't want them running around where I live!
It's my understanding the bacteria from their mouth get into your blood stream and will eventually kill you.
The dragon simply waits for you to die to eat you.
