Boys killed
A memorial sits outside the Reptile Ocean exotic pet store in Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canada, on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013. Autopsies will be performed Tuesday on two young boys who were strangled in their sleep by a large 4.3 meter African rock python that escaped from the pet store and slithered through a ventilation system and crashed down from the ceiling into the living room of an apartment upstairs from the pet store. The brothers, ages 5 and 7, were visiting the apartment of a friend above Reptile Ocean Inc. said Royal Canadian Mounted Police Const. Julie Rogers-Marsh. The store owner, Jean-Claude Savoie, said he didn't hear a sound during the incident and discovered the "horrific scene" when he went into his living room, where the two boys had been sleeping, on Monday morning. Savoie said the snake fell through the living room from the ceiling. (AP Photo/The Canadian Press, John LeBlanc)
