4 people set afire in attack at Denver home
DENVER (AP) — Police say four people were set on fire during an attack at a northwest Denver home.
Police spokesman Sonny Jackson says two men showed up at the front door of the residence at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Some words were exchanged, and a woman who answered the door was sprayed with a flammable liquid from a pump bug sprayer and set afire. Three other adults in the home also were sprayed flammable liquid and set afire.
The woman suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital, while the other three suffered minor injuries.
Jackson says the matter is under investigation and a motive had not yet been determined.
The Denver Post reports the suspects were still at large.

People admonish me for that stance, but the above article just backs up my point.

How does someone get to the point where they can set a human being - or any living thing - on fire? Â Something is so seriously wrong in our society lately. Â We seem to be churning out soulless monsters by the thousands.
 @belsnickles The level of violence with which US crimes are committed is a shock to me. When visiting many 3rd world countries the US government attempts to warn you about their crime problems but in my experiences I've noticed that the majority of crimes are petty in nature ie: pick pockets or stealing an item off a car seat but, the majority of crime here is very violent and getting worse at an alarming rate. Crimes against women and seniors are out of control and it will continue til the people put a stop to it their selves. Its unfortunate because this used to be such a nice place to raise a family and I dont think this "society" can agree to focus on one item without fighting over it. Its easier then getting up and putting a stop to it I guess.
