Voicing support (Nothing to do with following orders) for a president that openly disrespects the office, the oath he took and the constitution it defends is in direct conflict with the very oath you took and supposedly take very seriously.

When Clinton win in 1992, I was pretty pissed.  I voted for Perot, but I lived in Texas which Bush Carried.  And I voted for Perot becuase I carred about the debt then when it was only around 3 trillion.  

During the first 4 years of Clinton, I acted kinda like you guys and said stupid things like you guys.

"tax and spend" "Big Government Liberal Elite"  "Socilist" etc...

I actively campaigned for republicans in Texas from 1992-2000 for state and us congressmen and senators.

Then in 2000-2001, a funny thing happened.

the deficit was going away.  We were down to an 17-18 billion dollar deficit in 2000, and 2001 was projected to be  surplus. 

On top of that, the debt was projected to be gone by the end of the decade.

Think about that.  the whole Debt was to be paid off in ten years.

 

Then Bush took office.  The first thing he did was pass a giant tax cut and that projected surplus ended up with deficit. 

Then there was mediare part D

Then there was a war in iraq.

By the end of Bush's office we went from 5.5 trillion dollars in debt, to 10 trillion, and a projected surplus, to a 1.4 trillion dollar deficit. 

 

So tell me again which party is the "fiscally responsible" one.  Becuase I can't tell anymore

First, I have seen no signs of Obama being a "clueless, delusional, narcisistic Marxists"

Secondly, I have seen no signs of Romney being.... anything honestly. He has contradicted himself so many times no one can honestly say where he stands on anything. 

 

Now if you want to step out of your echo chamber, and look at things with some objectivity, you will see that Obama is far from perfect, but I will say this.

He at least has "impulse control," which is missing from teh republican base.  And it was missing from Romney when he held that press conference.   

 

I have said over and over that during the 70s and 80s, and even into the 90s, I could spot the liberal because they were the angry whiney irrational one in the group. 

Now, it is how I can spot the conservative in the group.  I do not know exactly when or how this happened, but reading your sad attempt at a rational post, just re-affirmed that view.

 

What is really sad is how you (or some other republican party hack) will accuse me of "drinking kool-aid" "having my eyes closed" or falling for "lame stream media"

 

 

I read news from at lest 20 different web sites with all kinds of views from far left (wonkett and Kos) to far right (Breibart and American thinker)

And I also read the comments on these sites, and one thing has become clear.

The republican base is no longer "conservative," and you guys will build the narrative that you are the only ones who know what is going on, you're not.  You are too busy yelling at an empty chair.

I wasn't going to vote for a Democrat, and I wasn't going to put Sarah Palin anywhere near the white house.

 

This year , I will be voting for Obama this year. I'd vote for Romney, and he personally does not scare me. What scares the hell out of me are the tea party evangelical right wingers who are angry and freaking out about how the world is changing. They have a nostalgia for an America that never existed, and they have created an image of Obama that does not represent anything in reality.

 

It is this combination of fear mixed with an inability to live in the real world that terrifies me, and Romney has seemed more than willing to play to them.

I was on the fence a little about which way to throw my support, in terms of the two parties, but after listening to all the dangerous and poisonous rhetoric from the Right - It changed my mind. So there you have it, it wasn't necessarily the shortcomings of any candidate, because they both have them,  that flipped my 1 percent, it was the followers.

Dr Biden and First Lady Obama has and will continue to support military families. They have dedicated thier agenda to thje military. The President as fought for these troops more than any other in recent history.

When I was in, we had some POS that wanted to take over the aircraft carrier and who suddenly became a muslim when enroute to the Persian Gulf. He should have been shot on site.
