Woman seriously injured in Colo. shooting miscarries
DENVER (AP) - A woman who was critically wounded in the Colorado theater shooting that left dead her 6-year-old daughter has suffered a miscarriage.
Jacki Kelley of the Jefferson County sheriff's office said Saturday that Ashley Moser is recovering from surgery but that the trauma caused the miscarriage.
Kelley declined to release details of Moser's pregnancy. Moser's family has declined to speak to the media.
Moser's daughter, Veronica Moser-Sullivan, was the youngest person killed in the attack at a midnight showing of the new Batman movie in Aurora, Colo., more than a week ago.
Moser suffered gunshot wounds to her neck and abdomen, and a family member has said her family had not told her about Veronica's death.
The family says funeral plans for the girl remain pending.

I can't even imagine the pain she and her family are feeling. She is severely injured, her daughter shot to death and her unborn child dead as a result of her injuries. It's just unimaginable. All I can say is I am so, so sorry. On behalf of humanity, I am so sorry for you and your family.Â
It is so incredibly sad that the whole country knows her daughter died but she still doesn't.

Oh my god. This poor woman.
OMG...this poor woman just miscarried one child and will soon find out that her daughter died too. This is to horrific for words. My heart is breaking for her and her family, this is so unbelievably tragic.

I know many will say "you didn't need to click on the article." But WHY WHY WHYÂ did the news feel they needed to publish this? For crying out loud, isn't anything sacred?
 @Robinsnest I get the point you have, and there is validity to it. At the same time, we should know how bad his actions were.   So there are, at best, differing views here.

This is like the knife has already been shoved in, but now they are twisting it to cause more pain. I would hate to be this woman and know that my personal hell has just been broadcast over the world and continues to be broadcast. I pray for her and all those that were affected by this beasts cowardly actions.
And by the way, as much I hate to put this tragedy in the same post as I mention "Snookie", in my opinion Snookie is a different kind of tragedy. Have a good night ; )

Too bad they can only kill him once. Does Colorado still have the firing squad? I sure hope so - I bet they would be inundated with volunteers.
OMG.....this poor woman. I can't imagine the grief that will follow after learning this horrible news. My heart aches for her.
