Man attacks pop machine with hatchet, says someone was inside
BOISE, Idaho -- Police have arrested a 47-year-old homeless man in Boise after they say he attacked a pop machine with a hatchet.
Officials say officers responded to a motel on Broadway Avenue Sunday night after receiving a report that a man had a hatchet. Police say Chris Collins started attacking the pop machine because he believed someone was trapped inside. Police were able to go into Collins' room and found meth inside.
He was charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and malicious injury to property.
