Driver leaves 27 pounds of marijuana in rental car

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) - When you return that rental car, make sure to remove all your personal belongings.
Someone in south-central Idaho didn't and now law enforcement officers are investigating the discovery of 27 pounds of marijuana in a rental vehicle left at the Twin Falls airport.
The city issued a statement Friday saying dispatchers received a call from Avis Rent-A-Car reporting a vehicle and been returned to the Joslin Field Magic Valley Regional Airport on Sunday with a large amount of marijuana in it.
Police officers say the marijuana was found in vacuum sealed bags in a duffel bag.

This is a ID10T error if I ever heard of one...
Did Willie Nelson's bus brake down?
Â
Dang, I'm NEVER at the right place at the right time! This person is just too stupid to live! How can one "forget" that they have that much weed with them? Can one even get that high on MJ. He must have been doing something stronger that weed. In the past, I've done my share of weed and alcohol and never been that messed up! This person gets the "Worlds Dumbest" (in all catagories) award. Congrats!
Yeah, MAGIC VALLEY airport alright.  After smoking that you'll definitely think you're magical and can do anything.
Yup. Just love the stupidity of potheads.
 @Zoso You obviously don't need pot to be stupid. Bravo.
Way too funny!
Must have taken a wrong turn somewhere. Â Washington is to the north-west of Idaho.
@31F -- NORTHwest from Boise, perhaps. But if you're in the panhandle, Washington is definitely WEST of Idaho.
Some supplier is going to be on a look out for someone tonight.
They do not call it dope for nothing....
oops
Somewhere someplace, a driver is getting the beatdown of his life from a drug dealer.
He was so upset about there being no more Twinkies, he got distracted and forgot about it.
I believe that the guy who returned the rental didn't even know the duffel bag was in the car when he picked up the car.
Â
He WAS gonna come back and get it, but half way through a big bag of chips, two Whoppers, three large fries, an industrial sized Coke and an apple pie, he forgot where he parked the car.
I wouldn't of turned it in......  Matter of fact those who did need their friggin' heads examined.....
 @Funky-Munky I was thinking the same thing! Man, talk about a jackpot!!!
Weed makes you forgetful.
that's it...gramma can no longer run dope for me...
He probably had 50 pounds but 23 "walked away" before he police got there. Let's see if some of the Avis lot guys start missing work. ;)
Â
Â
Dude, where's my car? Oh right, that wasn't my car.
Â
That mule is going to be in some serious trouble!
432 people could be walking around legal in this state with that much pot!
See, one of the side effects of MJ is short term memory loss.
Â
Rule number one: you don't get high on your supply
 @Howard Beale B.I.G. reference? That's rule number 4.  Â
 @lakeview  @Howard Beale Scarface reference...WAY before B.I.G.
