Police: Would-be thief made up sob story that got him pizza

HELENA, Mont. (AP) — A Montana man whose tearful reluctance to rob a pizza restaurant earned him free food apparently made up the sob story that gained him the clerk's sympathy.
Police in Helena say 33-year-old David Randall Lacey entered a Papa John's pizza restaurant on Jan. 22 and demanded money. He then broke down crying and told the clerk he needed the money to support his wife and children. The clerk made him a pizza and some chicken wings as he waited, and Lacey then took off.
The Independent Record reports an investigation found Lacey has no children in town and changed his story when he saw how little money was in the cash register.
He was arrested Thursday on suspicion of felony robbery.

You can't argue grammar with an voice transcription app. It simply takes spoken word and turns it into text. The spoken word is rarely grammatically correct.
Mmmmmmm... chicken wings....
Well then I guess the guy couldn't have been too stupid if the clerk actually believed him. The clerk is obviously dumber than the theif!

FAIL SENTENCE
 @lakeview More appropriately "READING COMPREHENSION FAIL"
Â
Seriously, there is nothing wrong with the way that sentence is constructed. Read it again and then maybe pick up a book sometime.
You forgot a comma between "again" and "and"...
Have a nice weekend!
 @Throbbinhood British English tells you not to put a comma between  "again" and "and"Â
 @Brian Connolly   You need to take a trip to grammar school if you think there is nothing wrong with the sentence above.Â
 @Throbbinhood Apparently they don't teach grammar anymore from what I can tell.
Where is the nearest grammar school, anyway?

 @Brian Connolly  @lakeview There's a few commas missing...
LOL hope that felony record and jail time was worth a 15 dollar meal. The stupidity, it burns.......
