Belgium Migration Museum
Sonia Pressman Fuentes explains items in an exhibit regarding her ship journey at the Red Star Line museum in Antwerp, Belgium on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013. The newly opened museum tells the universal story of migration based on the stories of actual Red Star Line passengers. Between 1873 and 1934, the Belgian shipping company Red Star Line transported approximately 2 million people from Antwerp to New York, many in pursuit of the 'American Dream'. Pressman Fuentes was five years old when she arrived in Antwerp with her family and then sailed to New York on the Red Star Line in 1934. She went on to become a leading author, feminist lawyer and one of the founders of the National Organization for Women. (AP Photo/Virginia Mayo)
