SEATTLE -- There's a shopping Web site where money is no object, whether you're after good appliances, DVDs, clothes or even free kegs of beer.
Martin Tobias says he and his co-workers we outfitted the entire office for free.
"We got this conference room table, chairs and white board for free from another company that was downsizing," he said.
Tobias' new office began to take form after a botched spring cleaning sale when he tried unloading a blow-up pool, a snowboard and a bench.
"The weight bench was a $300 bench that (we) tried to sell for $50 dollars. Three people wanted it and nobody showed up," he said.
After that waste of time, Tobias developed Kashless.org.
"On our Web site today, there's over 8,000 free things available today," he said.
The entrepreneur's new site lists freebies found all over Puget Sound. Renee Gibson found a free Web cam.
"I ended up responding to this. It's a Web cam for my mother on limited income, and it's perfect. It's free, which is my favorite word," she said.
Gipson also acquired a free stainless fridge and grill.
"I got a TV and gave away my TV," she said.
Like Tobias, she loves that this online free-for-all comes with a green factor.
"I don't want to go and dump something in a landfill and go buy something else," said Gipson.
Kashless.org posts the driving distance to freebies, which saved Liz Heinlein , a new mom, a lot of time when browsing for baby clothes.
"From the point that I saw the ad, it was an hour and a half before I was home a bunch of new clothing," she said.
Kashless.org will also post what you want or want to give away on your Facebook page and on other free sites like Craigslist.
