Our good friends at ABC's "Nightline" called looking for some old video of Starbucks and CEO Howard Schultz.

After finding it, I thought it would be fun for all you coffee drinkers to take a look at a time when Starbucks just sold coffee beans and had been purchased by Il Giornale coffee shops.

Starbucks was boldly planning to "build 26 stores across the country by next year."

The first story is from June 5, 1987, when Schultz had just purchased Starbucks, and the second is from December 21, 1987, when Starbucks was making its forays into the rest of the country, showing the nation what Seattle's coffee was all about.
