Atlanta Dream forward Angel McCoughtry pauses on the floor as Seattle Storm players run onto the court after the Storm defeated the Atlanta Dream 87-84 in Game 3 of the WNBA basketball finals.
Ricocheting thoughts as the week comes to a close.

First off, congrats to the Seattle Storm for wrapping up the WNBA championship in absolutely stellar fashion.

After kicking butt the entire season, the Storm continued to dominate with a 7-and-0 run to take the title.

The only fly in the ointment: A victory parade that starts at the Space Needle and ends at Key Arena.

Come on.

The team and its fans deserve a caravan through downtown not just a perimeter walk around Seattle Center.

Next, the King County Health Department is joining the chorus to push for a smoking ban in people's apartments.

The idea is to push landlords into adopting policies that prohibit people from smoking in their own home.

Regardless of your opinion of people who smoke, do we really want the government to continue sticking its bureaucratic nose so intrusively into our private lives?

Finally, some shameless self-promotion.

After 4 1/2 years, the radio show I did with John Carlson is no more.

Starting Monday he will have a show that runs from 9 a.m. to noon on KOMO Newsradio and I will have a show that runs from noon to 3 p.m.

The formats are different from what you might expect.

Give us a test drive.

Have a great weekend.
