There are those who are of the mind that Sarah Palin is above reproach and that only positive things should be said about her political record.

So I got taken to task for having the temerity to point out why I think she's anything but an agent of political change.

Barney Reynolds writes: "Your commentary on (Sarah) Palin was despicable. Her beliefs and principals are a breath of fresh air..."

Wayne Knapp: "I think you and the other folks on the left...have a right to be scared. You're facing (McCain and Palin) who have actually worked for a change, not just talked about it."

Ron Thieme: "...You have shown your true colors of being another secular progressive left-wing-bomb-thrower, and for that you can put a 'Schrammie' on your own shelf."

Becky Eastwood: "(The democratic ticket) can only read a script. Neither Obama or Biden could order a happy meal unless someone wrote what they needed to order."

Fred Harris: "You're entitled to your opinion and you're an idiot."

And finally, from Lisa Wilson: "I say good for her! Someone who will stand by god and stick up for families...The more you talk the more I know that...McCain and Palin are getting my vote."

Well, I guess I'd better shut up then.
