Viewers tell Ken: Stop picking on Palin
By Ken Schram
I should stop picking on poor Sarah Palin.
That’s the message from a contingent of viewers who are all ired up over my commentary on the VP candidate's $150,000 wardrobe. See the original story here. Lynn J. Walters writes: "The Palin clothing thing makes you sound desperate for material." Bill Conrad: "You give me a headache the way you stretch any given situation with conservatives to the point of being ludicrous ... while cutting slack for every liberal faction or cause." Mike Brown: "If you want to spew your liberal views at least try to come up with something original instead of the standard liberal talking points about Palin's wardrobe ... oh yeah (also) ... go to hell." David Nearing: "I would like to see what the Obama/Biden campaign spends their funds on." Catherine Tichacek: "How dare you question ... Palin's wardrobe expense. As the first female republican VP candidate ... she is providing an important image ..." And finally from Chuck Berlemann: "I have never heard so many liberals whine about something so inconsequential. If she didn't wear nice things, the whiners - like you - would call her a bumpkin." Okay Chuck, I’ll give it to you. She’s a well-dressed bumpkin. Thanks for writing everyone. Have a great weekend. Have something to say to Ken? Login or signup below to post a comment.
