With Alaska Governor Sarah Palin basking in talk of her being a presidential candidate in 2012, I responded with a commentary that I hoped would bring a touch of realism to the conversation.
(See the original story here.) The Palin "tologists" were quick to bring their own points to bear.
Burt Harwood writes: "You have no position, standing or authority to knock a lady that has more class ... than your favored Pelosi and Hillary Clinton."
Jon Hill: "Mom always said there was only one thing worse than a sore loser and that was an ungracious winner. You’ve defined that pretty well."
Craig Kessel: "President-elect Obama is calling for unity and healing the divide in this nation. I think you should participate ... by shutting your mouth."
Chris LeClaire: "You really underestimate Governor Palin and I hope it backfires on you. Sometimes the less you say the better off we all are."
Scott Wilkerson: "Sarah Palin knows Africa is a continent. ... She actually has some very good ideas, but you and the liberal media trash her on rumors ..."
And finally, from Mike Lytle: "Your one-sided thinking should make you consider another profession. ... You do not understand anything. ... Resign!”
Let me think ... resign?
Nope.
Thanks for writing everyone.
Have a great weekend.
