I don't generally bestow "The Schrammie" to someone who is out of state and otherwise obscure.

But in this instance, the situation is just too compelling.

And so it is that I'd like to invite Georgia Congressman Paul Broun to hitch up his overalls and come on down.

Seems the righteous Republican representative is warning the world that he fears President-Elect Barack Obama is going to establish a Gestapo-like security force as a prelude to imposing a Marxist dictatorship here in the United States.

Comparing Barack Obama to Hitler and Nazi Germany, the red dirt Georgia farm boy is trying to make the case that the president-elect's idea for a civilian reserve corps is actually the forerunner to a national security force and a ban on gun ownership.

Proclaiming that America can't be lulled into a sense of complacency, Congressman Broun says we have to remember that Adolph Hitler was elected in a democratic Germany.

So for his toxic talk and poisonous proclamations and for taking "Hee-Haw" to the hallowed halls of Congress, take a bow Rep. Broun because this "Schrammie" is for you.
