So I awarded this week's "Schrammie" to Mount Vernon Mayor Bud Norris.

Not only did Bud decide to give Fox News guy Glenn Beck the key to the city, he also excluded most media from covering the city-sponsored event. Read the original story.

David Lee writes: "As for your brand of actual journalists being excluded, I guess the mayor just didn't want to stink up his town."

Agnes Milthorp: "Why would the mayor want to invite bleeding heart liberals to spew their propaganda on a wonderful American like Glenn Beck getting the key to the city?"

Diana Wesolek: "(Schram) you're full of baloney. Oscar Meyer should open a meat packing plant right at your desk with all the hooey you spew."

Thad May: "Your tirade against Glenn Beck is the typical brand of liberal intolerance."

Bill Walker: "Are you from Mt. Vernon, Schram? If not, why don't you and all the rest of the Seattle liberals mind your own business."

Billy Ride: "That mayor up there in Mt. Vernon is just giving credit where credit is due. ... Set that cup of Kool-Aid down, Ken. Wake up and think for yourself for a change."

And finally, from Judy Rekola: "This is what I love about you liberals. You can dish it out, but you can't take it."
