Viewers to Ken: Nothing worthy in Nickelsville
My support of tent cities, including the recently raided and disbanded "Nickelsville," is not universally supported throughout the Puget Sound area.

Eddy Tilloch writes: "You make the assumption that Nicklesville was filled with people who want to work and become productive citizens...Back it up or shut up."

Angela Morales: "Why would you support people who try to make a public park into their own private hostel...I care about the homeless, but they don't have the right to plop their tents down wherever it suits them."

Martin Oswald: "Get off your high horse schram...Your liberal, anything for the downtrodden schtick is wearing thin."

Greg Walker: "Were those losers camped on your front lawn and did you have an endless legal battle to get their most-likely lazy butts up and moving."

Jeanette Androsi: "They panhandle in the morning and then use the money to go out drinking in the afternoon. At night they crash at a park that I help pay for. No sympathy from me."

And finally, from Pete Wachtill: "You're only worried that when KOMO finally fires you that you'll end up living in a tent city."

You mean I can't count on you to help me out, Pete?

Thanks for writing everyone.

Have a great weekend.
