Viewers to Ken: No prob with legislative mommy
If my e-mails are any indication, there are lots of people who are okay with having a legislative mommy.
I took State Senator Tracy Eide to task for a planned measure to make talking on a cell phone while driving a primary offense, meaning you could get pulled over for doing nothing more than that.
Alanzo Ausby writes: "The lawmaker isn't being a 'mother'. You are being a 'buffoon'...Stop pandering to the oblivious, selfish few. The roads are dangerous enough without the talkers."
Dave Cohen: "Way too many so-called adults don't get the importance of focused driving."
Deena Heg: "Cell phone use in cars should be a primary offense. It gets people killed...You are dead wrong on this one."
Carey Watson: "I see so many stupid drivers who don't care about safety (and) your comments supports (those) stupid drivers. Why would you want to encourage bad driving?"
Doug Tulip: "Thanks daddy Ken be we don't need advice from an idiot...It's about time that talking on cell phones and driving drunk are put into the same category."
And finally, from L. Lisa Lawrence: "The statistics show that (Tracy Eide) is right. I won't say what that makes you."
Oh go ahead and say it Lisa.
I can take it.
Thanks for writing everyone.
Have a great weekend.
