The Schrammie: Missing the point
For a long time now there have been the whispers and the rumors: Bad temper; verbally abusive; does not play well with others.
Well, if we are to believe state Republican leaders - and I think we should - where there's smoke, there is most certainly fire.
And so I'd like to invite State Senator Pam Roach to stop stamping her feet and come on down.
Senator Pam-Pam has been politically spanked by her Republican colleagues and banned from her party's caucus.
The disciplinary measure against Sen. Pam-Pam stems from her fellow Republicans saying that she's been abusive to subordinates and has an on-going anger management issue that's too often been directed at her fellow lawmakers.
Rather then being contrite and apologetic about being locked out of Republican confabs, Sen. Pam-Pam has taken to the offensive, sending me an e-mail accusing her colleagues of "petty politics."
In that e-mail she insists that she will not be distracted by such nonsense.
Well, you're missing the point Sen. Pam-Pam.
You are the distraction: Your attitude; your emotional volatility; your anger issues.
You are the detriment to good government.
So please don't cuss me out or flip me off.
Just take a bow. Because this "Schrammie" is for you.
