Schrammie: Neutral bathroom is political correctness run amok

SEATTLE -- When you gotta go, where do you go?
At Green River Community College, you go in gender neutral bathrooms.
And so I’d like to invite Green River Community College President Eileen Ely to stop squeezing the Charmin, and come on down.
It was Eileen that ultimately had to go along with the notion that transgendered students needed some assistance as to where to go potty on campus.
Near as I can tell, there were no complaints or specific concerns about where transgendered students get to do their business, but someone still decided that the college should be proactive and open up many bathrooms to all genders and see how it goes.
This bathroom experiment is another exercise of political correctness run amok.
It deals with a problem that hasn't been documented and has the unintended consequence of leaving transgendered men and women open to ridicule.
So, for adding another layer of stress and anxiety into college life; for manufacturing an issue out of pure political correctness and for creating confusion over where to seek relief, I’d like Eileen Ely to take a bow, because this “Schrammie” is for her.
