CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Passes to state and federal land and parks along the Oregon coast are on sale for a $5 discount this month.

The annual passes, called Oregon Pacific Coast Passports, are valid for all day-use and parking fees at state parks and U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and National Park Service sites.

As in past years, the $35 annual passport is being sold for $30 during December.

The passes are available at coastal state parks, federal agency offices and local vendors in several coastal communities.

Revenues from passport sales remain at the local level and help operate, maintain and enhance recreation facilities and services managed by the state and the three participating federal agencies.
