Raise the Woof

Kick off Husky Football season with KOMO News at Raise the Woof on Friday, August 28th at 6pm in the Dempsey Indoor Practice Facility. Be the first to hear Coach Petersen share his goals and vision for the exciting upcoming season! Guests will be able to meet and mingle with Coach Peterson, the coaching staff and the football-student athletes! Admission also includes free event parking and shuttle service, hosted beer, wine and soft drinks and BBQ dinner from Skillet! The 1st Day at the Fair Food Drive

Do the Washington State Fair for FREE on Opening Day, Friday, September 11th from 9:00am to noon with KOMO News and KOMO 4! With the First Day at the Washington State Fair Food Drive on Friday, September 11th, donate non-perishable food at any Washington State Fair entry gate and get FREE gate admission from 9:00am to noon! Help us beat last year's record of over 275,000 pounds! All donations benefit the Puyallup Food Bank which helps support local families in need.

Base 2 Space

For the first time in the Space Needle's 53 year history, the public has the opportunity to climb the tower's 832 stairs as a part of Base 2 Space: Seattle's Most Iconic Climb.  Open to runners and walkers over the age of 14, climbers will start at gound level and will ascend one of two open-air stairways, which provide 360° views all the way to the Observation Deck 520' above ground.  Each climber will pay a $100 registration fee and must also raise a minimum of $250 in donations.  Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center will receive 100% of all donations raised.  For more information or to register, visit Base2SpaceSeattle.com.
