Climb to Fight

John Carlson, from KOMO News, has climbed the highest peaks in the Cascade range, including Mount Hood, Mount Adams, and Mount Rainier. Soon he will be climbing Mount Shuksan. It’s more than a challenge. It’s for a cause, Climb to Fight Breast Cancer. July 17th through July 19th, John will hike for another year to support the thousands of women who were diagnosed with breast cancer last year. John will not be climbing Mount Shuksan alone. He will be joined this year by KOMO 4's Denise Whitaker, as she celebrates her 50th Birthday when she summits Mount Shuksan!

The Climb to Fight Breast Cancer began in 1997. Over these years, climbers have experienced the thrill of standing above the clouds while making a huge impact with raising over $7 million to fund critical research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Click HERE to donate and for more information.
You can even inquire about climbing a mountain yourself, anyone can climb a mountain with Fred Hutch. Every donation helps. And it's tax deductible.
