Dick's Takes Prices Back To The 50s

Look, Dick’s Drive-In is great. But, who has $1.50 to spend on a cheeseburger or $1.25 for a soda in these crazy economic times?

Well, good news. For its 59th birthday, Dick’s is giving a present to all the unemployed, underemployed and just plain cheap burger-lovers out there.

On Jan. 25, customers can get any size Coke or other soda for the 1954 price of 10 cents. And from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 29, anyone who buys a cheeseburger or hamburger will get a second one free.

The first Dick’s Drive-In opened on Jan. 28, 1954.

Dick's Vice President Jim Spady checked in with Manda and Gregg.
