Taking the "Polar Plunge" for Special Olympics

A group of stout-hearted police officers and others are diving into the chilly waters of Lake Union to raise money for Special Olympics.
Friday, February 10th, the "Super Plungers" - who raised at least $2,500.00 for the privilege - are in every half-hour for 10 hours.
Saturday, February 11th, about 600 plungers take the icy dive between 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. - including former Seattle Sounder - Kasey Keller.
