The Commodores on stage at Snoqualmie Casino.

One of iconic group the Commodores biggest hits is Brick House.

A song the group's William King tells me they wrote in about 20 minutes because they all wanted to leave and do something else.  King is one of two original members, backed by a group called The Mean Machine.  Their music spans from country to rhythm and blues, with a little rock thrown in as well.

They recently put on a Rockin' show at the Snoqualmie Casino and pleased the crowd with their mega-hits, ending with the grammy winning "Night Shift."

Take a listen to my story and interview with William King of the Commodores.
