Bill is excited to be an anchor for KOMO Newsradio. He’s worked for many station on the “left coast”, including a stint in LA before moving to Seattle in 1970. He worked as an on air personality and later as operations director at "oldies" KUUU. In 1977, he moved to KVI FM (which later became KPLZ) as news director. In 1984, and for the next 18 years worked as Drive time anchor and News Director of KJR/KJR FM/KUBE FM.

Besides on the radio, you might have heard Bill’s voice in other places. For eight seasons (1980-1987) he was the stadium announcer for the Seattle Mariners. He also was a singer with the Young Americans, recording several albums, touring the country and appearing in one motion picture and on TV shows including Ed Sullivan, Dean Martin, the Andy Williams Show, the Hollywood Palace, Johnny Carson and performing on the Academy Awards Show.

While he loves bringing you the news on the air, he also loves being IN the air. Bill is a flight instructor with more than 2600 hours in the air.
