Negroni Week: Cheers For Charity

If you need an excuse to meet up with friends or colleagues for a stiff drink this weekend, just say you need to do it for charity. Negroni Week, presented by Imbibe and Campari, is underway in Seattle, and you still have a few days to support some amazing local organizations. All you have to do is order a fabulous Negroni cocktail at one of 34 participating restaurants and a portion of the cost will be donated to a designated charity.

Master mixologists from some of Seattle’s top bars are putting their own twists on the classic apéritif for your tasting pleasure. The traditional Negroni is part Campari, part gin and part vermouth with an orange twist. If you’ve never tried one before, this is the perfect opportunity to get adventurous and expand your cocktail horizons for a good cause.

Each restaurant is raising money for a specific charitable organization. For example, Sun Liquor is donating to NW Harvest, Canon is raising money for the Beagle Freedom Project and Via Tribunali Neapolitan Pizzeria for the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation. Browse the full list of participating businesses and charities to plan your weekend cocktail hour.

Negroni Week continues through Sunday, June 8. Bottoms up!
