Another great week for the Seattle restaurant and bar scene, with five openings to report and no closings!
Porkshop & Co. is moving to Ballard, Eater Seattle reports. The locally sourced restaurant will be opening early April, and occupying the former Belle Clementine Space.
Good Bar. The owners of the Marination Food Truck have announced that they’ll be opening a restaurant in Pioneer Square called Good Bar, PSBJ tells us. There won’t be any crossover from Marination’s menu of Hawaiian food and tacos, however, but instead focusing on beer and Sloppy Joe’s. The owners are aiming right now for a June opening.
London Plane. Last year Chef Matt Dillon opened Bar Sajor in Pioneer Square, and now he’s doing it once again - this time at the other end of the block, and with a restaurant called London Plane. Puget Sound Business Journal reports that London Plane will serve only breakfast and lunch, and close weekdays at 7pm and weekends at 5pm.
Chop Shop Cafe & Bar and Chop Shop Juice & Provisions. Chef Erica Burke of Volunteer Park Cafe just announced she’s opening two new tenants in ‘Chophouse Row’, in the old Chophouse Rehearsal Studios space on Capitol Hill. Chop Shop Cafe & Bar will be a full restaurant and bar, while Juice & Provisions will be juice bar with ‘grab and go’ items. Both are slated to open this fall.
