Vittles Neighborhood Bar & Bistro. Now open in Belltown, Vittles touts comfort food with French, Italian, Goan and Portuguese influences. Owners Darlene Boline and Cajetan Mendonca opened Vittles together after being neighbors (with separate food establishments) in Pike Place Market.
Chick-fil-A. KOMO News passed on that Chick-fil-A will be opening three restaurants in the Puget Sound region starting Spring 2015. It's reported that the locations will be in Bellevue, Lynnwood and Tacoma.
Katsu Burger. Katsu announced in a Facebook post on Monday that they were closing after three years of serving up Japanese American cuisine in Georgetown. The post referenced a lack of quality staff as a reason for shutting their doors, along with welcoming emails from anyone interested in taking over the restaurant.
La Romanza Bistro. The West Seattle Junction restuarant is closed, reports WS Blog. We don't know much more than that, other than a voicemail message confirms it and interior furniture seems to be in transit and on its way out.
Stopsky’s Delicatessan. Seattle Times reports that the three-year-old Mercer Island deli will close for good on Sunday. They posted a message on Facebook saying that they didn't have the 'magic formula' to make the Jewish deli work.
Redline WS. The West Seattle Blog is on the case with Redline WS at Avalon and 35th, which has been seemingly closed for about a week. No word on any of their social media sites, nor signs on the door from what we're hearing. Keep checking back in with the WS Blog on updates as they get them.
