OPENINGS

Andra Loft. Just when you thought he was done, Tom Douglas opens another Seattle restaurant. The Andra Loft opened Monday, Seattle Met reports. The Loft accompanies the restauranteur’s new cooking school in the Hotel Andra (separate from Hot Stove Society cooking school). The bar is fully Scandinavian themed, and will serve up Nordic bites and Swedish cocktails.

Paxti's Pizza. The Bay Area pizza chain is opening a store on Ballard Avenue later this summer. Famed for it's Chicago-style stuffed pizza as well as an Italian-style thin crust, this will be lucky number 13 for co-owners William Freeman and Francisco "Patxi" Azpiroz who have locations in Denver as well as San Francisco.

Bell + Whete. We told you about Local 360's  newest venture back in February, and after months of waiting - a Facebook post has us thinking this French and English restaurant is finally opening on Saturday!

CLOSINGS

Brad’s Swingside Café. The 24-year-old Fremont Italian restaurant is packing it up next year, the Seattle Times tells us. Owner Brad Inserra says he assumes the restaurant will become condos or apartments, but he might be returning with a new restaurant.
