Ethan Stowell's Belltown restaurant Tavolàta (Italian for 'communal table') hosts a Sunday Feast each month, where a four course, family-friendly dinner is served.
This month's Sunday Feast on March 9 is a step away from Tavolàta's usually pasta-centric menu, and focuses entirely on seafood. Chef Brian Clevenger shared the briny menu, featuring oysters and four kinds of fish, for next Sunday:
Barron Point oysters with horseradish and grapefruit
Kale Salad with white anchovy, parmesan, and champagne vinegar
Salt cod with fennel flatbread and walnut oil
Paccheri pasta with bluenose sea bass, tomato, chili, and celery
Olive oil poached king salmon with salsa verde, grilled lemon, and tarragon
Warm baby beets with hazelnuts and miner’s lettuce
Grilled spring onions with lardo and saba
Rhubarb tart with huckleberry sorbet
Dinner starts at 6pm on March 9 and costs $60 per person. Call Tavolàta to reserve your spot as there are only 26 seats at the communal table.
