LUNAFest

LUNAFest, the national tour of short films for, by and about women, took place last night in South Lake Union. Dedicated to promoting awareness on women's issues and particularly featuring female leaders in society, multiple local companies came together to make this night successful - with all proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Fund and Reel Grrls. PoDog and Grim's provided munchies, and Yelp Seattle threw in some popcorn for during the films. Hilliard's Beer made a debut, and blowouts by Gene Juarez Salon & Spas made the ladies feel luxurious. LUNAFest as a whole has raised over $456,000 for the Breast Cancer Fund, and over $785,000 for other women's non-profit organizations. (Image: Joshua Lewis / Seattle Refined)
