Seattle Fridays from a driver's POV

Ever curious about what the average commute time in Seattle is? Or how many accidents are reported on the day to day? Google's social GPS app Waze recently conducted a summer driving poll nationwide - and they let us peak at the Seattle results.

On an average Friday in May 2014, nearly 16,000 Seattleites using Waze were on the road throughout the day, with the average driver commuting about 40 minutes.

The most common incident reported by drivers was - no shocker here - a general traffic jam (4,201), with 1,338 of them reporting a police presence at the scene, and 2,654 reporting weather hazards to other drivers.

Waze polled 1,000 female and male individuals ranging from 21-50 years old nationwide for this info.
