June 1 marks National Cancer Survivor's Day, and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) is making sure people take advantage of the time to inform family, friends, and patients alike of the late-and long-term effects that cancer survivor's often face after treatment.
In a perfect world when cancer strikes, you fight it, survive it, and never have to deal with it again. Unfortunately, that perfect world rarely exists, and many times cancer survivors have to deal with effects they might not be prepared or ready for.
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance is taking advantage of National Cancer Survivor's Day to host a gathering to inform family, friends, and survivors on what may lay ahead.
