The third annual Martha Stewart American Made awards are coming up, and two Seattle businesses are in the running.

jcoco. We took a look into the Seattle Chocolates line a couple months ago, and apparently we weren't the only ones to notice them! Editors at Martha Stewart Living Magazine loved the "commitment to community and feminine panache for a fresh, contemporary style and taste experience."

Noble Handcrafted. Noble Handcrafted is an Artisan Food company that ages & infuses syrups & vinegars. They call their products "flavor forward & honest."

jcoco and Noble Handcrafted are two of the 40 finalists around the country thus far. Nominations are still open, and businesses can be submitted through September 9th, at which point judges will select a total of 800 finalists.

Ten winners will be selected from the entire pool on October 17 - nine by judges and one by audience choice. They'll get $10,000, a trip to New York to attend the American Made event, the opportunity to be featured in Martha Stewart Living and on MarthaStewart.com, as well as marketing and PR help for their businesses.

Best of luck to jcoco and Noble Handcrafted
