Jennifer is a Lifestyle writer for Seattle Refined, KOMO news producer and blogger. She loves telling stories, and hearing good ones too.

When she's not typing away at KOMO or the coffee shop, she's volunteering at the Seattle Animal Shelter, discovering new restaurants and exploring her new home in Washington.

Good food, cocktails and animals are Jennifer's passions. A sucker for a foamy cappuccino, a flaky croissant, and a wet nose, Jennifer created the blog Bulldogs and Brown Sugar to share all of her culinary and canine adventures in the Seattle area. Her English Bulldog, Rosie, often makes an appearance in her social media feeds.

A Michigan native, Jennifer's career in news has sent her bouncing around the country. From the snowy north to the sunny south, Seattle is the sweet spot. She moved here with her husband in 2011 and hasn't looked back. Seattle feels like home.
