When we saw that Delta Air Lines was starting a nonstop flight from SeaTac to London Heathrow, we were curious exactly how popular our rainy sister city in Europe really is. Turns out, very popular.
According to Expedia, London was the number one choice for all international destinations from Seattle's SeaTac airport in 2013. And that's not all, it's also the second fastest growing overall destination from Seattle, right behind New York City.
Delta's nonstop SeaTac to Heathrow service began last week, and offers one flight a day departing Seattle at 6:40pm and arriving in London the next day at noon.
