Located in Woodinville Wine country, the rooms at Willows Lodge are so incredible, you'll find it hard to pull yourself away, even with over 90 wineries in town tempting you to come out and taste. Get ready for a perfect Washington State staycation when you visit Willows. This property blends elegance and luxury with a warm, cozy, rustic style that will have you feeling a million miles away from everyday life.

Each room features a stone-trimmed gas fireplace, ideal to curl up next to with a glass of wine or cup of tea. You can also relax in the soaking tub that conveniently fits two people (with a view of the fireplace and tv from the tub itself) or head down to the hot tub amid their beautifully designed grounds for an outdoor soak. Heavenly!

There are many wineries within walking distance (in the Hollywood Wine District). You can also borrow Willow's pedicab and bicycles to visit wineries or cruise the Burke Gilman Trail. For those interested in traveling a bit farther, Willows offers a WineVenture tour every Saturday. Perfect when no one wants to volunteer to be designated driver!

For lunch, swing by The Station Pizzeria for some incredible wood fire pizzas. We ordered a half "Forbidden" and half "Not So Classico" pie that was a perfect blend of savory and sweet (the poached pear was to die for). Great comfort food to help soak up the wine between tastings!

Barking Frog, Willows' fine dining restaurant, offers unforgettable Northwest cuisine with a bustling, warm, rustic-yet-elegant atmosphere, complete with a circular fireplace table at its center. Be sure to inquire what the Creme Brulee du jour offering is when you visit! The platings were gorgeous and the dishes were delightfully toothsome. Be sure to book ahead - this restaurant books up as it's a destination all on its own.

Willows offers some incredible events throughout the year. Some to note:

  • May 3 & 4 - Passport to Woodinville
  • June 4: Iron Vintner Challenge - every Wednesday in June four local wine makers compete in a cooking contest benefitting the Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center
  • Live entertainment every Thursday through Saturday in the Fireside, Willow's inviting lounge open to guests and visitors. During summer months, the doors open to the firepit in the outdoor patio adjacent to the Fireside.
  • Barking Frog offers cooking demos throughout the year - contact Willows for future dates.

Save: Hit up The Station Pizzeria during Happy Hour. Flexible schedule? Stay at Willows Lodge during the weekdays for cheaper rates. Visit Barking Frog during one of their promotions (currently featuring Dine Around Seattle now through March 27th).

Splurge: Take advantage of the many services The Spa at Willows Lodge offers, including massages, facials, wraps and much more. Their spa is one of the few in the state to offer a brand new service called The Red Carpet Facial, an oxygen treatment which hydrates and improves skin tone. Their new Honey & Lavender body treatment is also new to the spa, which will leave you feeling soft and renewed.
